About – Sabka Dental caries

Sabka Dentist-Dental caries, often called cavities, are erosions of the surface of the tooth caused by the combined effects of bacteria, acids, plaque, and tartar.

Dental caries is common in both children and adults, and they occur most often as a result of poor dental hygiene.

Dental caries is usually painless at first, but they may become painful if they spread to the nerve or root of a tooth. If left untreated, dental caries can progress to a tooth abscess, which is a more painful and potentially serious condition.

Dental caries is common, but they can often be prevented by practicing good dental hygiene, including regular brushing and flossing.

Dental care
Dental care is concerned with your teeth, gums, and mouth. The goal is to prevent complicated dental problems such as tooth decay (cavities) and gum disease and to maintain the overall health of your mouth.

A healthy mouth which is free of infections, injuries, and other problems with teeth and gums, is an indication of the best oral health.

To look after your dental care, there are different dental professionals who focus on the health and hygiene of the patients. Disease and other medical conditions can also affect your dental health and vise versa.

Failing to properly care for your oral health may lead to other health problems. You can help prevent or minimize many oral health problems by regular preventive steps like brushing, flossing, rinsing, and regular visits to dental health professionals.

Cavity filling
Cavity filling is used to treat a small hole caused by a cavity in a tooth. To repair a cavity, a dentist removes the decayed or damaged tooth tissue and then fills the space with a filling material to keep it protected from further decaying.

Tooth decay is caused due to the harmful bacteria deposited in the tooth that converts into acid causing damage to the tooth enamel.

The bacteria stuck on the tooth creates a cavity. More severe decay can cause a large hole or even destruction of the entire tooth. If the cavity is not treated, it can cause pain, infection, and even tooth loss.

Filling material to repair the damage include- tooth-colored (composite) fillings and silver-colored (amalgam) fillings. Composite resin materials are increasingly used to fill the teeth because many people prefer tooth-colored fillings and because composites continue to improve.
